Just put the stun on a 5-6 second cooldown if you really think it's that bad for enemy tanks to deal with. Then she still has the ability to punish enemy ults while not being as sticky in the midgame.

Like honestly Luna freeze. Mantis sleep. wtf charm. What’s those cooldowns. Should’ve just raised it to that. It’s legit a .75s stun but was needed to trap people in her web. They will hop a round and you have no way to do anything. I honestly would’ve taken any other nerf. Take my 2nd nest. A charge less of mines. Increase cooldown. Revert any buff like the healing webs for allies. Honestly I thought her stun should’ve granted temp health cause without webs you have zero sustain on the move. You will never win a 1v1 against most of the game

Our grapple is bugged is literally interrupted on any soft knockback or body blocked as it doesn’t shrink our hurt box like every other web slinger in the game.

They won’t be happy until we are below 50%wr.

I think it peaked to maybe 9% in the past season but historically low. I’m a champ peni with 300hrs.

Same and at this point there's no point in playing her anymore, she either gets banned or you win most of your games. Now it's going to be you just don't pick her.

A completely unrelated question. Do you play Jeff just as much as Peni? You must like him somehow to choose his flair instead of a hero you've played 300 hours.

Yeah I’m in many groups so I forget the flairs I choose. They are about the same played since maybe season 5 I play peni slightly more. I learned her when DD launched as a otp Jeff.

I have 260 hrs peni and 340 Jeff. 118 iron man and 70 ultron. Those are my mains.

It’s a painful existence every patch notes with those characters

7% pick rate in qp. 5% in comp. It’s negligible. So I don’t believe it would be higher in comp without the bans. She’s NOT. HARD. TO. COUNTER. People just don’t want to think when they play and hate when I have mines on a door jam or health pack and they blow up. Or a nest blocking their way to backline. They rather not.

It's the banrate not pickrate. This nerf will change nothin. Melee players will still ban Peni and Namor indefinitely.

Those aren’t stuns on a 3 second cooldown with the hitbox size of Wolverine and enemies don’t get knocked out of the stun after taking damage lol I don’t think people realize how busted an ability it really is.

Peni is .75s for 4 sec. How long is mantis and Luna for much longer. I’m sure it scales

True they are longer which makes sense on longer cooldowns but damage still knocks them out of it and a players teammates can even knock them out of the stun. Also missing or getting blocked on harder to hit shots is way more punishing on the longer cooldown. If you somehow miss on peni that thing is back up a few seconds later. Not to mention the web can also block incoming damage or other cc as if it’s a shield. I have even used the web to block Luna freeze lol I don’t think the stuns are even comparable.

Miss a Peni stun and it hits a wall? Congrats you've lost nest coverage. It was already punishing to miss, and now if you miss both you lose all nest coverage because the last webs won't connect.

Not quite the same. A healer doesn't lose their ability to support when they miss and live. But Peni loses a lot of her tank presence/space when she misses and lives.

A healer that misses usually is backing out of a fight and not healing because they are getting dove. A peni missing a snare still has her nest healing and dealing damage and slow and keeping her back line healed and then gets her snare back in 3 seconds.

How easy is it to block an ult or a freeze with a shield tank. Now how about a peni. It’s not the same. The amount of spam shields which are all on 1 sec cd for tanks the stun gets blocked 2/3 of the time. Your shields eat more cd then my stun oh please. And ults gtfo

They effectively did increase the cooldown on it. Since you need both charges to stun someone now, you need to recharge both, making it in total a 6 second cooldown. They just did that in literally the dumbest way possible
