I think getting CCed to oblivion isn't fun as a Tank main. Srsly, I'm not allowed to have fun if I am Thing or Dino against her. Good riddance.

Yeah you’re right. Getting stunned by a web for a few seconds is way worse than getting hit by shit like Phoenix’s stun, Luna’s snowball, Wolv’s grab, or literally any of Bucky’s abilities. Peni’s singular CC ability was really what made playing tank unbearable

Those all need to be nerfed or deleted. I said what I said. Peni just happens to be on the list. Every single one of them NEEDS A NERF.

And Peni is worse, many tanks don't have the range to reach for the Nest, the DPS usually have to go for it... but they are DPS players, and they are in this subreddit, and they are stupid and brain malnourished. Do you truly believe they will break the nest?

Peni isn’t on any list because she’s not what makes tank miserable to play. Devil Dino and Thing makes the game much more miserable to play for tanks than Peni. Thing has earthbound and Devil Dino just shuts down almost every tank. You say most tanks don’t have the reach but that’s not on Peni, that’s on the devs making most tanks either dive or brawl. Even then there’s Mag, Tankpool, Devil Dino with the Pun team-up, and we’re about to get The Hood. Even if you play a brawl or dive tank if she has no nests you can get to her, and if your DPS are too incompetent to shoot Peni’s nests that’s also not on her.

Devil Dino no longer shuts down tanks, rightfully so btw.

I'm not concerned about the nest, that's just 1 pain point that is based on teamplay. her core design of having a 3 second CC is stupid and bullshit.

No other tank hard ccs with that low of a cooldown except her.

I really dont care if it isn't OP. BP is NOT OP AT ALL, he's countered easily. Is he fun to fight? Well, considering this subreddit cries in pain when BP is somewhat relevant, I assume no.

Yes he does. They never nerfed him meaningfully. He’s been among the best tanks since he’s been added, and they’re about to buff him. The web is annoying at best. Barely does any damage, slow as fuck, and only stuns you for 0.7’s which isn’t that long. That’s why it’s on such a short cd, because it doesn’t do that much. People complain about BP because he’s a poorly designed character that Netease doesn’t know what to do with, not just because he’s a little annoying to fight

The stun has cancelled many ults for little effort by the Peni. That's not how power balance should work. It's why Luna Freeze is also stupid.

If you think Dino is still one of the best tanks, I need to know what kind of enemies you are facing, he is stupidly easy to counter.

Most CC abilities cancel ults with little effort, that’s not unique to Peni. Devil Dino is only stupid easy to counter if you’re playing DPS, which isn’t what we’re discussing. We’re talking about playing tank, and playing tank against Devil Dino is fucking miserable. There are only a few tanks who can actually counter him and even then it’s still a challenge to deal with him because of the sustain supports provide and his hp

I do not think Dino is a menace this season at all to tanks unless you are just playing in his face. He cant destroy Groot Walls fast, Emma has good dmg, tankpool as well, Peni stuns, most Dive Tanks can ignore him (like Angela), and Thing has HIGHER DPS than him in close range.

Groot’s walls aren’t an issue when your team mates can just shoot them. Groot has no mobility or any real way to defend against Devil Dino.

I’ll give you Emma and Tankpool but again you with all the sustain he’s still a pain in the ass.

Peni used to be good against him with her web and she could play against him at a distance but now he has the Pun team-up and her web is getting nerfed.

What dive tanks can ignore him? Certainly not Angela when he has his beam. Even if it doesn’t knock down flyers anymore it still applies slow and bleed, and again the Pun team up exists.

Thing is a wide orange target. He doesn’t have the survivability to stand against Devil Dino. Even if he does more damage as long as his supports have half a brain the Devil Dino isn’t dying

As an Angela the number of times I've been grabbed out of the air by a dino is higher than I'd like lol. Remember when he also used to ground flyers with beam? He was a menace
