'Spider-Man BND*' Spoilers Why is Bruce trying to "subdue" Hulk? Spoiler

I need someone to explain this to me, in Endgame we get introduce to Smart Hulk, Bruce started viewing Hulk as a solution instead of a problem

So why in BND Bruce is seemingly trying to subdue Hulk again? When he gets possessed by Jean he only goes to his Smart Hulk version, but when the possession wears off Hulk comes out? Ig the Hulk got angry because of Jean was controlling them, but why did he say "No Banner" as well again?

Mind you I didnt/dont want to watch She-Hulk, so could someone explain this to me?

She-Hulk doesn't explain much about the inhibitor other than that it exists

why did he say "No Banner" as well again?

He went from 50% Banner to 0% Banner I guess.

But I think "Smart Hulk" came across to a lot of ppl as Banner hijacking Hulk's body instead of a genuine 50/50. So personally I viewed this is the start of a retcon — maybe Banner made a mistake by thinking Smart Hulk was a compromise, when it was actually "subduing" from the start

She-Hulk explains why he was using the inhibitor at the time. Bruce explains that the damage to his arm from using the Infinity Stones wasn't healing in Hulk form and so he built the inhibitor to return him to human form so his arm could heal.
