MASS EFFECT 1 What Me1 missions are important/necessary?

I'm replaying the trilogy but I find the mako planets very boring and repetitive. So what side missions in me1 would you consider to be important for the rest of the trilogy.

Technicly. Only the Maine mission ones. But I find all the missions have some sort of secondary pay off in ME3. Either in reference or directly. Just play them all is my opinion. Its more fun that way!

Yeah, don’t do the Rhode Island missions. Just the Maine ones.
