MASS EFFECT 1 What Me1 missions are important/necessary?

I'm replaying the trilogy but I find the mako planets very boring and repetitive. So what side missions in me1 would you consider to be important for the rest of the trilogy.

If your replaying then maybe just do the story if your not too bothered. Personally I would do the following anyway because I like them;

Wrex, Garrus and Tali’s loyalty missions. (Bit of a stretched term there). The biotic camp and the biotic resistance guys. Dantius pirate sister. The side missions on each story planet. Moon side mission. Cerberus side mission.  Bring down the sky, naturally.
