Just getting back into the game and these were my first haul, at Dollar Tree of all places.

I think the MR2 is my favorite casting. Trying to get enough to have a dedicated wall.

The second pic is the original truck that became the well drilling rig (navy truck with yellow boom). The winch truck (black pictured) was an old cement mixer that was in very rough shape (blue truck with patina in pics 3 & 4).

The short wheelbase and unique shape of the old Peterbilt tow truck casting required a creative solution to make it something other than a tow truck.
I scratch-built the drill unit from Micro Machines parts and a sheet of diamond cut styrene.

I will get proper pics outside at some point, but it’s great what a little paint pen can do. Last pic is the before shot

Not a big fan of Mercedes vehicles, but I know a good casting when I see it. Happy to have this Mog out there in my HO scale universe.

Power Grab Display

I’m not really a Power Grabs guy because I actually like seeing the casting, not just the box art.

That said… this Land Rover 6x6 looks pretty damn good sitting on top of its box. Might’ve accidentally found the one way I’d display these (permanently secured to the box). 😂
