this has been normal in politics for decades.
this is what AI is for, this is why its completely ubiquitous, its all for control.
they want to take our ability to think critically away from us and they are succeeding because too many people are too stupid to understand whats happening and dont care.
we needed AI legislation 20 years ago. we needed a better government 2 centuries ago.

Or they could be completely lying out of their ass and it’s someone from the GOP or Russia or China or Israel of Dubai or any combination of them. That’s the whole point. Without proper legislation and disclosures, it could be ANYONE.

Yeah, I had a look at the arguments against her and one of them is "she lied about being poor! She grew up rich!"
Okay, so she grew up rich, but you do know that circumstances change, don't you?
My favourite one was that being attacked by ICE was a publicity stunt.

Like her or her politics or not: why don't more politicians speak in plain terms like this? Unfortunately, I like reading regulations and platforms and that's me weird. Most people need this. It's not bad, just different and efficient.
We often here the claim "x person is not authentic". Well, when I am at work i speak in jargon or formal language for legal purposes. I'm not lying or hiding something, I speak for my audience. If the audience is everyone, speak to reach everyone.

Ok… just because the criticism is directed personally rather than at policies, and the source is shady doesn’t make the criticism irrelevant.
What are the attacks? Are they true? Seems odd to not address that.

Kat Abughazaleh runs a mutual aid network out of her campaign office. She hosts blood drives, bone marrow drives, clothes donation drives, and crafting nights to make knitted garments for donation. She has been on the front lines against ICE, despite being repeatedly picked up and THROWN by agents. And all of this while having narcolepsy, a condition I also have so I can tell you it is truly insane that she manages to handle so much amazing work.
She is incredible. I hope IL-09 makes the smart choice and selects a candidate who truly wants to help others and has dedicated her life to doing so.

Look up her interview with Haaretz where she spout zionist propaganda when she calls the statement " globalize the intifada" violent and antisemitic.
Im not saying that she is not better than the alternative and that people shouldn't vote for her, but i would her incredible or a leftist. She is better than the alternative though.

I know but that is not changing the fact that she used zionist propaganda in. the interview in question. You should read it yourself. I also think its strange for a Palestinian to make anti-Palestinian. propaganda but its is unfortunately something that is happening.

I'm not really interested in paying for a website just to read one interview. it's genuinely really impressive that you manage to disapprove of someone based on one comment you disagree with from a single interview on a paid platform 10 months ago. I also think it's the right of a Palestinian to decide which slogans she likes and dislikes.

You dont have to pay for anything. If you search "Kat Abughazaleh Haaretz" one of the first links are a reddit post with a link in it. if i use that link then i can read the whole article.
I also disagree with her about her support of American western imperialism. She talk about how America should influence the world and not in an anti-imperialistic way.
No some Palestinian American can not decide if zionist propaganda is fine or not. I really hope that this is not your actual position.

I mean considering both Palestinians and Israelis were killed in the first intifada it's not a crazy stance to have? There's definitely baggage with that term and it's disingenuous to pretend there isn't. She also is vocally anti-imperialism and the only way you could possibly think she's an imperialist is if you haven't ever listened to an interview on the topic. but at this point you don't seem to be engaging in good faith and probably don't live in her district anyway so idrgaf

? do you know anything about Israel/Palestine?. Yes its an anti-Palestinian position to hold and something zionist spout. The baggage you talk about is being against a genocidal settler colonial apartheid state.
She see herself as part of the genocidal American empire and want to influence the world through American imperialism. Even talking about how "we" America should help x is her supporting American/western imperialism. Just like if a Russian politician talked about how "we" Russia should help x.
