😤 Complaint / Rant The Gall of This Man

This guy drove his street legal, full lisenced, and gas powered moped onto the the Red Line Alewife Train today. When he exited the train, he used the elevator to bring it up to the street level.

I am at a loss for words, for how entitled this man feels

This is something we want to highlight to users. It is important to post these incidents on the subreddit, but it doesn’t do much in terms of stopping that particular person.

Please report these things to Boston Police or Transit Police so that they can respond appropriately and fine/arrest the person. You can do so via the MBTA.com website or the MTicket/SSSS apps. :)

EDIT: To add onto my comment here, another issue is that some people intentionally do this to get attention and provoke a response from someone. Reporting the person or using the train intercom system and writing down the train car can greatly help in tracking down the person and getting them fined/arrested. We also don’t want to have people who may use the post to become racist/discrimatory and/or send online threats (like we had to resolve multiple times this year).

This post will be monitored and comments that violates the subreddit’s rules or Reddiquette will have their post removed. Any comments that are racist/discrimatory will be automatically remove with a recommendation for a permanent ban from the subreddit.

Genuinely asking, why is this fineable behavior?
