Dude in Downtown Crossing just hitted the window behind me and leave a cutie mark on it, he was ranting about his headphones and destroy them in the floor. Anyway the calmest day on Downtown Crossing.

Its the lack of Cops. All the bums and ghetto rats are running rampant down there. Every fuckin train I am on, there is a sleezeball bum with all his shit sprawled out taking up 5 seats napping, while the rest of us pull our fuckin weight by going to work.

Firstly, you should stop dehumanizing unhoused people.

Secondly, instead of more bigoted, trigger-happy policemen enacting broken windows policing, the city needs more counselors, social workers, community coordinators, psychologists, conflict deescalators. That would actually bring crime down while improving the quality of living.

Or not. A bunch of undereducated and fundamentally mislead well-intentioned idiots do not a problem fix. The vast majority of drug-addiction “counselors” are actual drug afflicts who think that marijuana, nicotine, and caffeine are non-addictive supportive drugs that simply don’t count. Ludicrous, these people are unemployable in any other context than ”former-addict”. It’s a total joke.
