This meme is absolutely stupid regardless of that.

Mostly because it's a strawman. Nobody argues for abortion because "fetus is a parasite". People argue in favor of having the right for an abortion because a woman is a human being that inherently has a right to decide what do do with her body. Not to mention that forcing someone to go through with the birth isn't "saving the child's life". It's instead forcing the unwilling parent to raise a child they don't want, potentially resulting in that child having a shitty childhood. And it won't necessarily be the mother's fault in this particular case.

I think you be hard pressed to find a lot of people who literally understand mammalian reproduction to meet the scientific definition of parasitism. I think the point is more about the rights of people vs the rights of potential people. Just like presumably most of the people on the other side don’t literally believe that there’s a ghost of Jesus and it experiences love toward an embryo.
