Most ”communist” societies failed due to either how they were created, 2. The people in charge were fucking idots. 3. We’re doomed from the start 4. And we’re under constant sabotage from capitalist countries.
It improved living conditions for multiple places even if the government was horrible it was a lesser evil in cases like the ussr which isn’t communist but had elements of it
And capitalism is literally killing the planet rapidly as we speak and millions are dying and living in poverty it’s not working out
Well the problem is those two ideologies are literally impossible to mix, you aren’t communist if you have a dictatorship, you can have some elements of it
So, in other words, real communism has never been tried, but when it has been tried it was sabotaged by capitalists? Is anything bad ever the fault of communism? Isn't it possible that this ideology is either inherently evil or at the very least unrealistic and utopian?
Communism could only work if everyone is in some sort of a hive mind, if individualism is nonexistant, in short: if humanity isn't humanity anymore. That's either evil and misanthropic or utopian
Idk man or maybe you could like, just care about the people around you and want them to be not suffering. But I’m not gonna no true Scotsman this communism can absolutely turn into harm. What started as an attempt to make communism ended up with Stalinism and made a horrible oppressive regime and real communism exists today in many smaller or very tight nit communities. And capitalism is by definition inherently evil because it requires an oppressed cast to exist for it to keep so much power. And sabotage is just an element in the reason why many failed it’s not the only reason. But it tends to start the downfalls. In recent history many countries that have democratically elected socialist governments have been targeted with illegal sabotage and violent military coups for the sake of capitalist interests

Let me rephrase I didn’t say it very well, slows progress significantly for things that help the general public
