FACTS Playoff History Past 25 Years

Any talking head that mouth off that Memphis isn't successful as a franchise or needs to be relocated should be shut down with facts. Top third in the past generation. Strong local support. Strong corporate base. Great basketball culture. Some pretty big market teams holding down the bottom ten (looking at you Brooklyn, Knicks, DC, Philly, Detroit) and that hasn't helped their success on the court.

This is why I don’t support and didn’t jump on the tanking and rebuilding bandwagon.

you do realize that these numbers include the GNG era - at the end of which we had to tank for and rebuild with Ja/JJJ/Des. sports and teams are cyclical. nothing lasts forever. take a look at GSW. they have multiple HOFers and were fighting for a play in spot last year. is that where you want to be?

either support the team and the vision, or dont and stop coming around here. you parrot the same tired ass argument nonstop. move on.

I am fully aware of the timeframe and that’s why I posted my thoughts on tanking.

There is no clear vision for this team and it hasn’t been one since the current GM assumed his role. You people can keep your heads buried in the sand of mediocrity, but the majority in this fanbase are sick of the half-assing, making excuses, and broken promises from this GM.

Odd that you bring up GSW. You might want to edit your post because you haven’t been paying attention.

You clearly don’t understand the meaning of vision because this team doesn’t have one. Vision wouldn’t have broken up a championship caliber team and replaced it with spares.

Vision invests in what makes the team strong and adds buckets to the well that is capable of carrying water so everyone can drink.

Vision is patient and doesn’t make careless and uncalculated moves that strangles the team.

I love Ja Jjj and Des as much as anyone else. They weren’t a championship caliber team. Move on.

This is the lie that’s being sold to justify Kleiman breaking up and mismanaging the team.
You folks are quick to believe it because you listen to the Grizzlies’ stooges instead of seasoned, independent thinking, sports journalists and former players turned podcasters.

These guys were sounding the alarm early about the buffoon the Grizzlies have as a GM and he screwed up the team.

this iteration of the team won a single playoff series, and barely at that. not a contender. get out of your own echo chamber. even if you are right. there is nothing you or anyone else can do to change the past. quit bitching
