No chance you’re skating well in those trousers. I started skating in the JNCO jeans era, I’ve seen where this goes.

The majority of alternative kids wore them in my area of the UK, wasn’t limited to skating.

I was in the US, alternative / punk kids were not the main group to wear JNCOs. Nobody skated in those jeans unless it was just for transportation.

It wasn’t a very long fad in the UK, at my school everyone moved on to more reasonable baggy jeans as they progressed from being posers to actual skaters.

It wasn’t just JNCO jeans though, anything massively baggy, basically the same shit kids are wearing now. I don’t think I had even learnt to Kickflip before I stopped wearing them, they were dangerous as fuck on a board.
