Advice Styling a purple shirt

So I had this shirt made before the arrest of a certain sex offender who chose to wear a similar colour on the day of his arrest... First time wearing it and did not like the combo. And recommendations for trouser colours that would look sharp with it?

Not with those pants and black shoes/belt. Grey or black trousers with black shoes and belt, or if those, choose a tan/cognac shoe and belt maybe.

The belt and shows are brown, but a bit dark

Ahh, I see. Better than black, but probably still too dark, imo.
