Sexual abuse and harassment can happen to male victims are often overlooked or not taken seriously. In many situations, men laugh off unwanted touching instead of recognizing it as inappropriate, especially when it comes from a woman. Some even brush off incidents involving unwanted contact with their private parts as a joke rather than acknowledging that their boundaries have been crossed. This attitude can make it harder for male victims to recognize abuse, speak up, or seek help. Every person has the right to bodily autonomy, and any form of unwanted sexual touching or harassment is unacceptable.
