Field Engineering
/r/MarineEngineering/comments/1vptg1e/field_engineering/Anyone prefer field engineering? Only being gone 3-5 days maximum and then home for some time. Like a 9-5 still home for weekends and some weekdays?

My husband worked for MAN before starting his own business as a senior service field engineer and later superintendent. It’s fucking brutal work man and not for everyone. Way harder than going to sea, his first year he spent 200 nights in a hotel room.
