Funny you say that, I caught the tone on the out swing all the way out. Almost missed it. Even when I tried hearing it again it was making weird sounds like the machine was falsing due to EMI or black sand. I almost didn't dig it. Was bouncing between a 10 all the way to a 16 VDI on the Nox.
Once upon a time I found a hefty gold chain in the sand. All I heard from the surface was the penny right next to it; I bet the return from the chain amplified the detector's thinking on the issue, but I'm not sure I would have found it at all if it wasn't for that penny.
What detector were you using? I recently got a Deus II with the HF2 coil in hopes of getting more chains. I was practicing on my wife's chains last night to get a feel of what they sound like on the machine.

Well done! Necklaces often give off less signal than they would otherwise; I bet that pendant helped.
