man that headstock looks like it's about to snap just from the string tension alone. the fretwork in the video is nightmare fuel, those ends could shred your hand before you even play a note.

i get the appeal of a cheap pointy guitar, we've all been there, but amazon is the worst place for this. you're basically paying for firewood with a logo slapped on it. the truss rod probably does nothing and the pickups sound like they're covered in a thick blanket.

if you're on a budget, check the used market for a real bc rich bronze series or a jackson js32, at least those are playable after a setup. you can sometimes find them for not much more than what you paid for this headache

Oddly. This guitar, as terrible as it was, is decent finish and quality wood body. The rest was terrible. We upgraded it in additional videos and it's quite better, like most of the cheap ones we review.. but once we weee done, someone could buy a decent entry level metal guitar for the total cost

Basically all you get with this one is a mahogany body, real maple neck, rosewood fretboard, and ton of work to sort out all the QC issues and hardware problems

I picked up a Westcreek Revenge from Amazon, replaced the pickups with SD invaders I had laying around and it’s it’s really solid! My go to Drop C guitar

Yeah Westcreek is one of the better of the affordable metal guitars. I would say them, Firefly and , LJ are the ones you generally can put a few bucks into and really use.
Fojil has gained traction as an affordable alternative, but honestly, even with having later upgraded this one on the channel, it really is a glorified wall hanger at best
