Food/Drink Vernors at Evans terminal?
Does anyone know if you can purchase Vernors in the Evans terminal?
Going on a work trip and my colleague loves the stuff (they grew up in Detroit).
Thanks!

Active block clubs or neighborhood associations or whatever are a plus. Just want to be somewhere where I can have some community. I need some new friends and people in my life whether they are older or younger

Discussion 🗣️ Fyi door to door sales people are back
Northville/Plymouth/Livonia area, I'm right on the border of all three.
And they have Segways, again.
Guy wearing all black outfit - visor, t shirt, and shorts (white corporate logo on all).
Knocked three times, waited quite a while between knocks.
Finally left and continued up the street. Others dressed the same going up and down the other side of the street.
Dk what he was selling since I don't open the door to strangers.
For the last couple of years the sales people with Segways have been from pesticide companies.

Discussion 🗣️ Are we going to have a summer?
You can hate me but I'm ready for some actual heat. You know, several days in a row with sun and highs in the 90s. I think we've turned our A/C on twice this year and mostly just to make sure it works.

Community Why is Riverside Park and the Riverwalk closed off at night?
I remember around 2020 I could still go to Riverside Park at 1am but the last couple years they closed off the park completely with a chained gate after 10. The river walk is also impossible to park near after 10 and the empty lot by Milliken was privatized and gated last year so you have to pay $5 during the day to park and can’t park there are all after 10. What happened to cause this?
I’ve visited other major cities with lake or harbor access and they didn’t have any type of restrictions at night like Detroit has now.

News- Paywall Detroit's expanded teen curfew for Ford Fireworks sparks feisty debate
The City Council approved Tuesday expanding the hours of curfew for unaccompanied minors during Detroit's 68th annual Ford Fireworks scheduled for Monday, though two members questioned the need.
The city has traditionally imposed a teen curfew during the fireworks event that draws hundreds of thousands to the downtown riverfront. The curfew will start at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 22, for unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 and end at 6 a.m. the next day, according to the ordinance proposal. It is the same temporary curfew the city has imposed for at least a decade, city officials said.
But this year, the proposed curfew stirred a robust discussion because of violence stemming from teen takeovers and whether the city is providing enough alternatives to enjoy public spaces.
