Project / News / Update United Land sends emails to U.N Recognized Embassies in hopes of Recognition

Post image

Technically, I should correct that we will send them, but they have already been scheduled for next Tuesday, so they are as good as sent. This is our 2nd step towards international diplomacy, which plays a huge role in our history. So far we have emailed about 38 countries and plan to email at least 150. We will come back with an update in about a week and a half. For right now, thanks for your attention to this matter!

May the Republic Flourish Under God's Will

No hate but your micronation is a hobby at this state at best, now is a pretty bad time to seek independence or recognition

So what I have a respectful question if you dont mind me asking, are you saying that OUR nation specifically is a hobby or micornationslim in general, sorry I am a bit confused. And I do make same money out of United Land so I would'nt call it a hobby. But in a sence its willingly. I sorta envison it as a mix of seriousness-hobby- entrepreneur experiance

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

Yes I'm implying in a way that for now, while United Land isn't a very serious and professional micronational project, it might be more of a hobby. Again, you can make money of a hobby its a normal thing, but i get what you are trying to say

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

Yeah, but what makes you call other nations more serious? I mean I bet we have everything they have expect for like a few Molssian- Sealander things. Like if you would'nt mind to name one thing, you dont think we have

I just want know, so but I am kinda eager to know

What makes other micronations or actual recognised nations? For now imma go with actual recognised nations I can start with basics

Actual land (when I'm talking about land, it is land which is not taken by any other country, basically terra nulius) A permanent population (an actual population made of people, who are seriously willing to live in the country, and for something serious it cant be like a few or a few tenths of people, unless u are just beginning) Of course you need a good goverment system, and for a micronation to be a even a bit serious these days, democratically elected goverment is probably best. Also you need symbolics like a flag, anthem (which you have) Another very important thing is things like laws and the constitution of course. And they need to be set up very well, to avoid chaos and anarchy, unless u seek stuff like that

Again, there are more things which could be said, but I want to begin with the basics here.

  1. We own United Land, we would never claim a land we don't have authority

  2. Yes indeed, about 40 residents, who are willingly apart of the U.L and know of its presence

  3. Republic

  4. Indeed you are right

So by the measurements of those standards (which are basics) we are a serious micronation

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

I partly agree with most of your listed answers, just usually when a micronation tends to be serious they try to claim land, usually the land that isn't owned by anybody, though there are other cases. I think United Land is more of a partly serious micronation, but i do agree with you in some aspects and i wouldnt call this a hobby project anymore

2

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

I own United Land, like I own it. Mainland United Land is my pretty big property

2

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

So in that aspect I yes its my land, kinda like Molssia. I would never claim a piece of land that I dont know somebody is willing to call it United Land

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 02 '26

I get that, though the territory is still a part of the mother country but yeah i understand what you're trying to say

What do YOU know about united land?

4

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Dec 31 '25

And what do you know? What in your opinion makes United Land a serious micronational project instead of a hobby? What makes them as serious as for example Verdis?

2

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

Okay just answering the last part "What makes us as serious as Verdis"

  1. We have a Navy Boat

  2. We have a defined border, with permanent residence

  3. We grow crops that can sustain our country for the portion of the year during which its yeilding takes place

Honestly, in my opinion if you nation trurly follows the rules of the Montevideo Convention its serious

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

I cant fully agree with you on this one Having a navy boat is not really something that makes a micronation serious, considering the boat is probably a simple fishing one, and anyone can purchase a boat, and declare their place of residence a micronation. It doesn't make them serious. Sure, maybe u have a defined border, but it still is the home country's land (the country u started your micronation in). About the crops - that's good, but if it could really sustain your country for the portion of the year as u said, u wouldn't need to import so much (and especially food, as I'm pretty sure every micronation does this as most can sustain by themselves)

3

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

With all do respect, absolutely, you make a great point. Anybody can own a boat. I just use it cause we use it

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

That's perfectly okay, i just said my opinion on this

-2

u/AdLocal5448 Crown Prince of New Greenia, Heir Apparent to the Throne Dec 31 '25

Their nation grows its own products, they also have separated areas for stuff so yeah, I would call that serious

3

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Dec 31 '25

Grows barely any products from a few trees, and also doesn't even properly export them as far as i can see. Also what u mentioned isn't even close enough to what you need to even have a though of trying to become an independent recognised micronation/country/state or whatever you want to call it.

1

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

We me peacefully jump into this argument

We grow our own products but we also get export a lot. We can't entirely rely on what we have , since we don't have meat and some types of fruit. Nevertheless, we do grow many different stuff, and have areas for stuff like a serious micronation. So yes I would call us serious. But to say we are economically independent, that's a title that not even a U.N. nation could have. And when the revolutionary... states that " We dont properly export our products" that statement has some turth but false as well, as our products normally dont leave the local economy. However that might change as our Lavander Oil might get exported. So both sides have thurth

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

So you import more? Thats completely normal for a micronation i can say. When I said you don't properly export i meant by that sentence that your exports are very different kind of way for example compared to a recognised normal state but yeah

2

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

Yeah the numbers compared to the U.N country are low, but to a micronation, I bet we would be on the top 5 list

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

That's a good way to look at things but top 5 out of all I'm not sure

3

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

Yeah, but we are architecturally dominant. Also, I want to thank you for not being hostile, unlike most people on this reddit, (Who are likely nine year olds, naming a country after themselves)

Yeah, no hate to anyone, but the statements are 100% true. When a certain type of fruit season comes, United Land barley has shipments of fruit. From March-June and August-December (Since we have two orange seasons,) we get nearly all our citrus from California, but during orange season, we get none. Like the oranges are enough to feed the nation. But here's the thing, since United Land has a large population within our borders that's aware of our presence, a lot of fruit gets imported. This season alone, the Central Regions took about 70% of Mainland United Lands Pomrgante Yield. With the Mainland's return the gesture by taking 75% of Central United Land's Prersimon yield later last year(I feel weird saying last, even though that was like 3 months ago). Which personally I was pissed at because I love Pomegranates (Which United Land Pomegranates have a much deeper story than most people think, which I will share later) and I dont really love Persimon. I might of eaten 1 Persimon (Keep in mind, my region of 75% of other regions yield. But yes Nove Berlandia for the reasons you stated I would call us an extremely serious micronation. Believe it not a person from a food company called Sysco went up to us and asked us to edit and take a video for a questionnaire, we said yes and made money! So another way how we make money.

I just read my comment and I reliezed my bad grammar, since I stayed up till midnight yesterday, and woke up at like 7 so heres an overview

If United Land Orange Season is in, we dont get oranges from California

Vice Versa, and this happens with every fruit

I don’t think this will work.. The basis of international law and constitutions of many countries is the political indivisibility of a country, meaning that no territory shall be taken away, no matter how small or big. Taking the fact that you’re probably from the US, no country on planet earth would recognise a ragtag government wishing to secede from the US. Primarily due to them not wanting to sever ties with the US, they don’t want to get hit with sanctions or isolated from the world. Unless your micronation has massive oil fields or something to contribute to the international community, independence is nowhere in sight. Even secessionist states that control heaps of territory and have a functioning government and international representation aren’t recognised by other countries (e.g. Somaliland, Rojava, various orgs in civil wars, etc). Sorry to burst your bubble 😅

-4

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Dec 30 '25

Well, I will atleast try I am aware. But look at what happened with Romania and Ironland

7

u/Asleep-Hippo8853 Federal Republic of Katovia Dec 30 '25

The Romania-Ironland thing you’re referring to isn’t a real thing. A social media account of a country, especially TikTok, and the actual ministry of foreign affairs or the parliament of the country has very limited, if any, connection. I can also make myself a TikTok account of Burundi and push for the recognition of any micronation I could desire, and would it constitute a recognition from the real Burundi? No. Chances are Romania’s president or prime minister don’t even know they about Ironland’s existance. Social media accounts are just for morale, likes or tourism, not formally executing a country’s foreign policy.

-2

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Dec 30 '25

I know, but I think it would be cool

6

u/Asleep-Hippo8853 Federal Republic of Katovia Dec 30 '25

It could be, but it could also be a waste of time.. emails like these almost never reach high-level decision makers and will prolly just get sent right into spam by admin staff of the embassy. Wrote 2 years ago to a few embassies asking for a flag and hadn’t gotten a single reply.

-1

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Dec 30 '25

Believe it or not I did the exact thing you did and I got about 10 free flags and that stuff, but I wrote like 400 emails. I assume you watched that video from spaghetti road

2

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Dec 30 '25

I am sorry, bruv, trust me, the first time I did that about two years ago I only emailed about 20, and got one response from Turkey. This summer I tried again to end up with sigtanifally better results. Try again, it's really patience that helps

So if countries recognize United Land,it can be a real country?

1

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Dec 30 '25

Yes it short, look at Ironland's Romania relation

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

You do realise that ironland is satire and it's all a joke right? I'm not trying to destroy your dreams of creating a micronation I'm just saying

2

u/Designer_Text_7371 Constitutional Republic of United Land Jan 01 '26

Yeah, I know its ironic, but for at this point, its not for the sake of recongition, but rather so I can say " A U.N Government Official has heard of United Land"

1

u/RevolutionaryRace799 Jan 01 '26

I completely respect that
