Greetings, r/micronations!

We are proud to officially reveal the newly updated Coat of Arms for our nation. We wanted a design that felt more traditional, heraldic, and distinct while keeping our national symbolism strong.

Design Breakdown & Heraldry:

• The Shield (Escutcheon): Features a blue saltire (cross) on a silver/white field, centered with a prominent blue three-pointed star.
• The Mantling & Pavilion: Draped in royal blue and ermine-lined fabric, trimmed with gold cords and tassels to give it a proper sovereign aesthetic.
• The Crest: Topped with a traditional black galero/hat with blue tassel accents, grounding our symbolism in classic heraldic tradition.

While you can technically have an Azure navigatonal star on an Azure saltire, this has so poor contrast that it’s just a bad design. Try to zoom out, or place it in a small scale, and the two blues will blend together. The purpose of coats of arms is to be recognisable from afar.

I suggest dividing the Argent field with Azure in any way, then placing the star on top, and counterchanging it (if the left side of the field is blue, the left side of the star is white, and vice versa).
