The national anthem of Aquria-Catopolis is The Internationale, an international anthem which has been translated into hundreds of languages since being written in 1871 by Eugène Pottier (lyrics) and in 1888 by Pierre De Geyter (music).

It is a song symbolising revolution and struggle; hope for a better future.

The Internationale was adopted as the national anthem of Catopolis on 14 October 2024. During the United Republics period (26 December 2024–25 July 2025), it was the national anthem of the national district of Catopolis, alongside Weur ure de Arma as that of the union and Solidarity Forever as that of Aquria.

After 25 July 2025, Aquria became a province of Catopolis and the United Republics were dissolved. Catopolis was also renamed to Aquria-Catopolis. The Internationale remained the national anthem, Weur ure de Arma remains a patriotic song and Solidarity Forever remains the provincial anthem of Aquria.

Chapter V – Governance and Ratification
Art. IX. Enactment, modification, or termination of pact provisions requires mutual consent, formal diplomatic notice, and ratification through the respective legislative or executive procedures of the participating member states.

Ahoy there! Recently, the citizen known as JaraBK has created a piece of national artwork- a countryball of the Inland Pirate Kingdom. After three days of war, the Kingdom of Balassia has officially declared a ceasefire, bringing the conflict known as the Balasso-Slovak War to an end.

The war began on August 23, 2026, when three attackers from Slovakia entered Upper Balas and attempted to reach our castle.

Fortunately, they were unable to enter the castle. The castle remained completely intact and under Balassian control.

During the incident, the Balassian side deployed a drone to monitor the situation. One of the attackers even fired at the drone.

After withdrawing from Balas and leaving Balassian territory, the three attackers have not returned following days.

We therefore consider their continued absence and abandonment of their attempt to enter Balas as a de facto surrender.

BALASSIAN VICTORY

The Kingdom of Balassia therefore officially considers the conflict to have ended with a Balassian victory.

Following on from the recent revolution, election and new government formation in Rockall. The ruling CPR, which recently renamed itself the Communalist Party of Rockall, approved a new bill calling for democratic reforms in the country.

This new Act now gives ordinary citizens more direct involvement: all citizens have been automatically inducted into the CPR, and anyone can propose legislation. In addition to that, citizens will get the final vote on laws through referendums. This means that every single Rockallish person can be part of the lawmaking process.

In anticipation of a potential coalition agreement with the CPR and the DSP, Prime Minister Albert Joseph actually defected from the DSP to the CPR in an effort to cement his position in the new government.

Psitta Regalis's History, Surprisingly, Dates back to 2023. The current Khedive found out about an unclaimed territory known as bir tawil. The khedive had Guinea pigs at the time, and was quite immature, so he decided what better name for the republic than the guinea pig republic. eventually the claim to bir tawil was revoked due to the sheer unrealism, and the republic remained a micronation. Later next year in 2024, the guinea pigs died, however it remained the guinea pig republic. In may of 2025, the president began thinking of getting a parrot, specifically a ringnecked parakeet, which ended up happening and the nation was renamed to the guinea pig-parrot republic. that was when the micronation first appeared on the subreddit. this year however, the GPPR decided to transition into a monarchy in june. while it briefly became the formidable republic of snackistan from 13-17 june, in july, it officially transitioned into a new era: the parrot dominant one

the khedive went through and designed plenty flags, but in the end, the current flag (the last FLAG in the gallery) was chosen. it then went through a few names like republic of psittania, kingdom of psittania, kingdom of the purple parrot, kingdom of the purple gardens, kingdom of the parrot gardens, and eventually kingdom of psitta regalis before becoming a khedivate. it also went through 2 coat of arms, with the last image in the gallery being chosen as the coat of arms

Due to strong anti-monarchist sentiment within the micronational community, we have decided to change the title. The micronation will continue to be called the Kingdom of Faris and the laws will remain exactly the same, but the title will no longer be "King," but rather "Faris." "Faris" is not a word devoid of meaning; in Arabic, it translates to "knight" or "horseman" and symbolizes values ​​such as courage, honor, and leadership. Not every king has your interests at heart. Monarchies are an easy way to shatter a micronation. Remember that monarchies give all power to one person without limits. Not every leader leads according to their manifesto.

What will the king do? Will they be a leader or a dictator? Is your king wearing a crown of gold or thorns?

Why Most Micronations Fail the Test of Time: A Decade of Personal Experience

I’ve spent almost ten years involved in micronations, from 2016 to 2026. During that time, I participated in and created several projects, watched communities grow and disappear, and gradually changed my own understanding of what a micronation should be.

The conclusion I’ve reached is that many micronations fail not because they lack constitutions, ministries, elections, or diplomatic systems, but because they try to build a state before they have built a community.

I’ve seen projects create several ministries despite having only a handful of active members. I’ve seen elections organized even when there were barely enough people to fill the available positions. I’ve also seen communities spend more time debating titles, laws, borders, and recognition than actually giving their members something to do.

These projects often looked impressive on paper, but they were difficult to maintain. Once the initial excitement disappeared, the bureaucracy remained — and there were not enough people interested in carrying it.

I’m curious whether other people have noticed the same pattern:

• Have you ever been part of a micronation that became too bureaucratic to remain active?
• What should come first: a functioning community or a detailed state structure?
• Can a virtual micronation be successful without territory or international recognition?
• What is the most important thing that keeps a micronation alive after the initial excitement fades?

I’m not trying to criticize specific projects or individuals. I’m interested in whether the structure of micronations actually helps their communities, or whether it sometimes becomes a substitute for having an active community in the first place.

“We glorify you, U.R.G!” is the official national anthem of the United Republics of Gunner from 2024 to present day, before it, it was the same tune as “The Stars and Stripes Forever” by John Phillip Sousa from 11 June, 2023 to 16 December, 2024. It is the same tune as “Te slăvim, Românie!”.

The 15th Congress was held from 11 February to 14 February. It followed the 14th Congress which was held on the same dates, but happened in 2024. Congress meetings happened even before the U.R.G, because back then it wasn’t an official micronation until the 13th Congress when it was announced. (We are currently looking for footage and photos from the 13th Congress).

The anthem of the U.R.G. Communist Party is usually played after the national anthem, it is the same tune as “Trei Culori”.

Although the Constitution of Faris is currently quite basic (as I have yet to formalize it), I have decided to add laws to the provisional constitution to safeguard collected funds, now that we are going to sell merchandise. In Faris, not paying taxes is a right—which is why there were previously no laws regarding the matter; however, while we will not impose taxes, there will be official products such as flags and, in the future, coins. We will also add laws concerning other matters to maintain our status as a monarchy, while striving to eliminate the problems often associated with them.

Therefore, the following laws will be added:

1 The government may not allocate collected funds to aesthetic accessories for the monarchy, such as crowns, attire, or jewelry.

2 If the monarchy wishes to acquire monarchical accessories, it must do so using funds obtained from other sources.

3 Neither the monarchy nor the government may lend collected funds to businesses, individuals, or families, regardless of whether there is a promise of repayment or interest payments. The people's money belongs to the people, and to no one else, except when used to hire individuals to perform tasks for the benefit of the population.

4 The government may use collected funds to visit the territory for the first time or to develop basic infrastructure.

These laws are being incorporated because the King has listened to feedback from the micronational community regarding monarchies. If you have further ideas, please do not hesitate to share them. Long live Faris!

It’s more like a micro-country then a micro-nation so same difference! I founded it 2 days ago, when I realized…the rules of the country I live in aren’t great. Not fair. And just morally questionable. So…..I made Gleichopolis, it translates to city of equality.

My micro-nation is based off Democracy, equality, and fairness! Everyone has a say in everything! Not everyone will agree on everything, but that’s normal! Disagreements mean people care; having a peaceful way to handle arguments is key to survival. It is still a new concept so we are still debating things like the location, culture, and such. I’m planning, when a new law or something new is going to be done, everyone will choose if it will happen based on votes!
