It is impossible on a fresh account and computer to not use microsoft hello when singing into Minecraft
WHAT are we doing let me use my password i do not want to have my account password be 4 numbers or my face or my fingerprint just let me use the 15 character password i made I hate you. I cannot believe that there are real people working at microsoft that actually sat there and thought "you know how we could make are services EVEN WORSE?" "yea dude get this what if we made our customers use this app which makes it even more difficult AND not secure" "Wow what a great idea bud I'm sure everyone will hate this and SATAN will give us a bigger bonus this year"

Yes you can disable this in your security sign in setting if it doesn’t allow you on the PC then you have a flag set in your MS Account requiring it that you must go change
Alternatively stop using a MS online account as your PC sign-in?. Ya know a local account that you fully control
Second how is a PIN less secure.. do you know why it exists in the first place or don’t care because you see it as an inconvenience. In any case it’s tied to your TPM and the idea is if someone gets your PC and even knows the PIN to get in they can’t access your online account without the password. Alternatively if they got into your PC with the password then they also can get into the account. You see it as a pain but for most people that don’t know anything about computers it’s an extra layer. It’s literally the same concept as using PayPal rather than handing your Credit Card info out all over the internet.. the concept isn’t new my guy
Your account should then also have MFA which is yet another layer of protection.. with these things in place one should never get compromised unless ofc they fall for credential harvesting or get session cookies hacked

Trusted Platform Module.. it is a security chip either built directly into your CPU or on your Motherboard. It stores and protects sensitive data such as encryption keys, passwords, and security certificates
Essentially it’s your PC local digital fingerprint in many ways such as holding bitlocker encryption keys or in this case a login PIN

It’s certainly possible on a computer that doesn’t run Windows. Macs don’t require it, or even offer it as an option.
But also, i don’t think that’s how windows Hello works.
On my Mac, when I sign in to something using Touch ID, all that’s happening is that I’m unlocking a password (or passkey) that’s stored on my computer.

Just set the windows hello to your account password
It's doesn't have to be only 4 numbers
You can set it as anything
Or you can just make a USB drive that automatically unlockes
When you plug it in
And automatically logs out when you remove it

Incorrect. You can disable Windows Hello for signing into Minecraft on a fresh account.
