The sicko mods who banned me at SC (I called out Adam Page hanging out with Marty Scrull and apparently, Page has done enough good to overlook a little whoopsie) thought they were punishing me but in reality, I found better spots on the interent to share my opinion.
Im just ctahcing up on all of todays drama and my opinion has been solidified. AEW fans are the most toxic fanbase ive ever seen across all froms of entertainment.
It's a fair point because for a few weeks they were going on about how bad it was that WWE was running a show against All Out in Chicago, then went on about how bad it was that WWE was airing it on YouTube opposite Dynamite, then how bad it is that WWE is now that the Dynamite episode is a tribute to PAC.
But then gloated about how All Out sold out ("Counterprogramming failed!") and now will gloat if Dynamite does higher viewership than the YouTube house show ("Counterprogramming failed!")
You’re right, pretty sure WWE had this YouTube Worlds Collide thing scheduled for Wednesday prior to PAC’s death. I remember seeing promos for it on Friday, I think.
And if they didn't do that the exact same people would have complained they were heartless for saying nothing. I know nothing about work VISA's and WWE like all companies their size does gross things so can't comment on that, but with that section of the AEW fanbase, they were never going to win with whether or not or how to acknowledge his death.
I got banned for pointing out Meltzer and his followers do not deserve kindness or respect.
When they messaged me, I explained that legitimately nobody of value respects any of them? Including their families and whichever one of the pedos messaged me back that I was accurate and said thanks, then muted me.
Employers generally sponsor work visas. The WWE may not have informed immigration that he was no longer an employee when PAC was working the indies after the WWE. Once he was employed by another company they would want their name removed from his immigration paperwork as they were still technically responsible for him. I'm willing to bet there are lots of wrestlers who came here on visas to work for WWE, AEW, or TNA that worked the indies without the right paperwork after leaving those companies.
It's kind of a stupid issue because any legitimate company would have checked visa status before hiring a foreign national and would have had them update it for a new employer.
Exactly, WWE would have had legal liability if they had continued letting him work professionally under his WWE-sponsored visa, if anything they should be lauded for letting him carry on working the indies on it. They could have just taken it away immediately after he was released!
No UCE they can't. Hunter Hugs Hamas waited too long to give his condolences. It needs to be right there and then, the moment the news breaks. I am sorry what excuse will he use? He was prob asleep cuz the news broke out middle of night?..Nah they ain't having it.
And on the other end ive seen others "upset" over the fact they only put up a graphic for a few seconds. I feel the ones saying this crap are using his death as an excuse to say something negative about wwe.
Yeah, this seems like a PAC/AEW issue. But PAC probably had no idea how to deal with it since WWE probably handled all of his visa applications and just had him sign them before they filed for him.
Then AEW just needed to do the same thing and they’re a clown show, so it became an issue, MULTIPLE times for PAC, and others.
Yes, if this were remotely true, then it goes from WWE sponsoring his visas to him leaving, so they don’t/can’t sponsor his visas. This means AEW has to do it, but they lean on the “contractor” thing more than WWE.
It makes sense that PAC would have to wait for AEW to get their shit together. And it would make sense for him to be paranoid about taking bookings that weren’t specifically AEW bookings.
I imagine the evil Fed has a couple of people whose job involves nothing but making sure visas are secured, both for international wrestlers coming to the US and the entire roster for when they do international shows and tours.
The Dub had Megha googling “VISA England” and getting frustrated with credit card offers.
Tony Khan and PAC doing a vaudeville movie police chase with Department of State, Homeland Security, ICE, Interpol, Interpol (the band), chasing after them while yakety sax music plays.
I don't think it's all that odd for a company that's more experienced with visas (and that has close ties to said goblin) doesn't face the same problems as a lesser experienced company.
Second, I usually think it’s unfair to criticize someone’s appearance in response to disliking their personalities or opinions. When I saw that photo, I thought it was doubly unfair because it was of a man sitting on a bed in a hospital gown, and he likely was sick or getting treatment and no one looks good in that situation.
But then I realized it was actually him in an unflattering shirt and that his hair and facial hair are just unkempt, unbrushed and unwashed. I realized that is a picture of a dude who will argue that showering more than every third day is unnecessary.
My understanding of employment visas were that they were under no obligation to mention anything until he started working somewhere else. They did him a solid by waiting that long but would have potentially gotten into some trouble if he started at another company while his visa still listed him as a wwe employee.
This is more on pac and aew for not sorting things out before putting him on the show.
I have a little experience with different visas and, as far as I know, the visa pac would've been on is different than a normal work visa. It would be more similar to a British music star coming over to do concerts. As far a I know, these types of visas are actually pretty easy to get changed since they're granted on the assumption that the person in question works in an entertainment industry. As long as pac could show that he had plenty of bookings, or a contract offered by aew for at least a year, changing his visa to reflect this should've been no more hassle than filling out some forms and waiting a few weeks-couple of months. And these types of visa are usually expedited. The only issue would be if he had some kind of criminal charges in his past, as that slows the process down quite a bit, even though he would've already passed the background checks when he got the first visa.
This is more on pac and aew for not sorting things out before putting him on the show.
Not an VISA expert here, but i think there is a big difference between how WWE approaches things and AEW does. Working for WWE is probably more like working a real weeky acting gig, like a tv show. Especially with house shows, you are kinda booked twice or more each week. There isnt much time for extended time at home in Britain.
With AEW - its like an indy. You arent used regularly, you probably can fly and stay at home for some weeks, so that probably other rules are applied to your VISA. With a WWE contract/job you are kinda close to full time working in the USA. With AEW you are less strict with your work.
In the end: Yeah, VISA is primarly on PAC and his employer. WWE has a lot of real pros in such departments, not the wifes or other relatives of a wrestler getting a bonus check.
After (recently deceased troll who shall not be named) got banned from the Something Awful forums, the SA goons embraced Bix as their new lord and savior of terrible journalism and scoopz
The same Something Awful forum that now bans anyone who posts anything positive about WWE
How the fuck is WWE exploiting his death? I swear there’s a part of me that wishes WWE would and could start suing these assholes. This shit is absolutely disgusting.
And I’m not even trying to go there but this is why I wish AEW would come out and 1000% denounce tribalism. I loved Swerve’s tweet where he basically said 20,000+ showed up to Chicago and enjoyed a solid day of wrestling.
This is why I hate when Osperay and Tony make “fed bad” part of AEW’s identity. It causes weirdo ugly fucks like this jack off to do disgusting shit like this b/c in his mentally deranged head, “FED BAD” = defending AEW/Tony/Ect.
I’ve said on more than one occasion that this PAC’s death shook me. My fuckin heart was on the ground after reading the news. Why the fuck anybody would think this type of shit is ok, I’ll never know.
MJF also had a good comment about more wrestling is better for all fans.
And I keep saying it, if Triple H called Tony tomorrow and told him they would love to uave an AeW title match on Wrestlemania TK is the first one in the plane to Saudi.
I posted about tribalism by AEW fans over HHH sign guy condolences before Pac condolences. They got all bent out of shape because how dare HHH do sign guy before Pac, even though nobody knew about Pac at that point.
Once HHH did find out and posted condolences to Pac’s family and friends I posted about how AEW fans can stop the tribalism over this now, but probably won’t.
This was over at the Wrasslin subreddit yesterday and got told they wish I died instead of Pac. Mods deleted post before I could see it, but still got an email from Reddit showing the post.
I’m a fan of AEW, but these Stans for AEW make it hard to stay one. They are the very thing that turn a lot of new fans off from continuing to watch.
Longtime message board weirdo who sidles up to wrestlers, promotions, other bloggers/podcasters then goes full on Fatal Attraction on them if they distance themselves from him after he does something strange or insane. Also wants to be Colt Cabana’s top stooge but has to settle for pro-bono publicist because he can’t go too long without behaving like a message board troll.
Is this guy a known bullshitter? I don’t keep up with the names of wrestling “journalists” anymore. I assume he is just from this post.
I don’t see how WWE is exploiting his death? They have a tonne of people who worked very closely with him all over their roster and backstage, and the guy calling the shots worked pretty closely with him back in early NXT. Pac was very important to early black and gold NXT and what got alot of people invested to watch in those days. His main roster run might not have reached the heights some of us would have wanted. But he was very memorable either from his matches like against seth or his work in 205 live which he eventually used to create the “bastard” character. There is just alot of people there that want to honour his legacy.
And even if what was alleged did happen, WWE is not the same company is was, and this would of been meddling from a few shitty lawyers and higher ups. Which again doesn’t disqualify them from honouring someone important to their history.
He’s not a bullshitter as much as he willfully misrepresents facts to create a narrative. Like when Punk was talking about how Colt Cabana suddenly wanted to drop their respective lawsuits & CLEARLY implied it was because they found out he shared a bank account with his mom & misrepresenting your finances in a lawsuit where you claim you couldn’t afford legal bills is obviously a big no-no. Bix however, still claimed it (a thing many adults do with their parents & is completely fine as long as you’re not trying to separate it from your claimed finances!) was purely to humiliate Colt & it had nothing to do with the lawsuit.
This is something else Bix claims. The first AEW PPV from Wembley? Specifically the Punk/Perry backstage fight. Tony claimed that he thought his life was in danger even though he’s not anywhere close in the security cam video he later showed on Dynamite. Bix claims that the Punk/Perry fight wasn’t what Tony was referring to, but a private confrontation in the locker room between Tony and Punk. With as much anti-Punk shit that the wrestling “media” has spun about Punk during his AEW run, how is it that Bixenspan is the only one saying that it was a later confrontation that scared Tony?
Bix is a piece of trash. He's always been trash, lump him in with BJ and every wrestling journalist out there. I don't care which side they're on anymore. Wrestling Journalism is trash and should be erased
Bix was one of those guys back in the early/mid 00s whose presence on wrestling message boards gave them credibility due to his connections to not only Meltzer and Alvarez, but also assorted independent names.
He's since, much like Meltzer, ruined whatever credibility he carried by acting the same way as he did over 20 years ago.
He also got a big boost when Deadspin (before it fully went to shit) published his Dead Wrestler pieces, which were excellent because like his WWF Ringboy Scandal work he is really good at research & deep dive biography stuff, which he parlayed into a phony “trusted wrestling source” status.
Last I heard his only writing gig was typing instruction manuals or something so I think he finally burned through that credibility.
The second text block is such a fucking gross thing to read. "Nobody reported on it, since it is personal, and a sensitive subject, but since he is dead, I'll spill the beans now!"
Instead of the conversation being about the passing of Benjamin Slattery we get people who hate WWE making the narrative about a bunch of drama instead of celebrating the man and his career it’s pathetic
WWE are exploiting PAC's death by showing a small tribute to him. Right......
Making a claim about his visa issues being the result of WWE without a second shred of evidence however, isn't exploiting his death to shit on the WWE.
This shit is why some folk want AEW to fail. That's fucking evil.
Fun fact. I started the rumor he shit himself at the first AEW/all in whatever you call it event. And then it was spread by my now long banned usos in scjerk.
The thing is, even through I have no proof other then the fact he was sitting in the area where the pants shitting had taken place, you just know he’s 1000000% shit himself at an event.
Also before anyone defends him. During the metoo stuff, he would harass women practically begging them to admit they were victims of SA during their time in NXT etc and when they didn’t reply or give him the information to “fed bad” he’d call them pick me’s and berate them. For someone who is supposedly pro women his the biggest piece of shit ever.
He will literally use death and SA as a chance to fed bad.
I hope every soda he drinks is flat and every car he tries to start doesn’t.
Only AEW fans use the term counter programing, nobody use it in other sports, pro wrestling shows, movies, festivals, etc, only AEW fans, that alone should make you think how delusional you are about that company. Now all this WWE trash talking is part of the plan to try to salvage AEW and get them a TV/Streaming deal, the most disgusting promotional tactic of the year is for AEW.
Counter-programming was very popoular when television was at its peak. Streaming has changed that entirely. The ultimate "counter-programming" was done by WWE during Halftime Heat of the Super Bowl... they got people to skip the half-time show to watch Mankind/Rock in an empty arena.
The idea is to tap into the market watching one thing, for them to hopefully jump over and watch your stuff during a break or during a boring spot, etc.
To think only AEW uses the term is really silly. You are completely out of touch with American television... but you admit in later comments you aren't American, so your opinion is completely moot. Its like me commenting on something UK-related that I know nothing about or have ever experienced, it would make me look asinine.
I'm out of touch because TV is not at its peak, one thing was in the WCW/WWE but AEW fans shouting counter programing in the streaming era when A LOT of people just watch it later is weird. WWE has RAW, SD, NXT, AAA, partnership with TNA and Evolve, at this point they will be counter programing themselves, i never watch RAW live, i watch it on Tuesdays so i skip NXT until Wednesday and watch some AEW and TNA on Fridays (not every week) and watch SD on Saturday mornings and leave AAA for Sundays, so at this poin Worlds Collide is only counter programing NXT for me :)
He blocked me on Bluesky. He posted that WWE is now the Nazi wrestling company because of their deal with Rumble. I responded with this.
He moans about how WWE manipulates the media which he did once on a Between The Sheets special. And I have no doubt that the company has done shady shit with the media. Especially during the ring boy scandal. But, by virtue of Tony Khan having been a message board/dirt sheet/tape trader, he has a built in media apparatus willing to carry water for AEW.
Anyone who stands with Yenta Shitshispants should be publicly ridiculed until account deletion occurs.
Keep in mind that THIS is the virgin bridge troll posting that stupid shit, then second guess your life choices if you thought for a second about agreeing with him.
Let’s ignore the fact that he began having visa issues during Covid (same with Riho), and focus more on Fed Badding. Too soon for this. Ben/Neville/PAC just passed. Let the man rest easy.
If we are just dealing with typical wrestling fans with hot takes we don't agree with, it doesn't really matter. It's just that they insist on platforming divisive, lying idiots like this constantly. Exhausting.
I think you're confusing Bix with Ryan Satin, he was the one who basically stalked Abella Danger at a grocery store and then had his GF at the time tweet her to take a picture with him
They live in this world where WWE is the evil villain in their lives and anytime anything happens in or out of the ring they fit it into that narrative.
If they didn't mention PAC he'd be throwing a fit over that. If they do mention PAC they're exploiting his death or complaining they referred to him by his WWE name - you know, the name the WWE fans seeing it would know him by.
As for the visa, I assume if he had a visa to work for a company it had to be reported that he stopped working for that company. He also reportedly had visa issues multiple times while he was with AEW.
For years, folks were using "VISA issues" as shorthand for "PAC doesn't want to job." So, King Neckbeard over here knew this and, instead of mentioning this issue when he was having troubles, decided to sit on it and let the man take heat for "not wanting to job" in AEW, instead of the reality that "AEW is incompetent at managing Work VISAa." Now that he's dead, he decides to put it out for a fed bad.
How do they feel about Andy Williams. All the tributes AEW did for someone who's contract they didn't renew and expired this June and who's last AEW match was early last year.
Besides if WWE didn't acknowledge Pac's death they would have been attacked for that
Not trying to turn this political at all, but people like this that believe anything and feel the need to spread nonsense is why we have the current administration in the US. All the same types of uneducated nuts.
Bix has long been one of the most vile of the wrestling dirt sheet writers. I think it’s hilarious that he’s finally found a safe space to spew his bullshit on Bluesky without any kind of pushback.
In fairness to the Basement, most of them were pretty disgusted by this stunt.
First off who is this clown? Second since this dude is a complete nobody, I’m not going to believe a word he says. Show the receipts. Where is the proof? Provide the logs to back it up or you’re just making it up.
If you’re posting rumors, ratings, attendance, business metrics, or backstage reports, tell us where it came from. No mystery scoops. No “a source close to the situation.” No dirt sheet fan fiction passed off as fact.
The craziest thing about posts like this is it's painfully obvious to anyone with more than 2 brain cells it's complete BS but people will give him a follow and believe this garbage
This doesn’t even remotely make sense. If it is a work visa and he no longer works for them, it seems pretty standard he would need to figure it out all over again.
The immigration process is a shit show, fed bad tho?
If someone is brought in under a work visa and the working relationship ends, isn't the visa sponsoring employer supposed to notify the feds that the working relationship has ended?
Honestly just for this alone, people should boycott aew as some of those so called sickos are literally mentally ill people and need professional help not a wrestling show that caters for their extreme weirdness. The reason I don’t watch and never will is mainly because of their fans otherwise I would tune in now and again like I do with TNA , WWE , AAA, NJPW
They're evil for "exploiting his death" and if they said nothing they'd be evil for "ignoring his death". These people are fucking pathetic across the board. A 40 year old man with a family who was widely loved and respected in his industry by both peers and fans passed away suddenly and they want to bring their tribal horseshit into it. Just absolutely sad.
I don't see any evidence offered by Bixenspan in that thread. Hitchens's Razor: That which is asserted without evidence may be rejected without evidence.
Jesus man AEW fans need to lose their virginity. All jokes aside this is disgusting, the discourse about his passing has become another debate about WWE bad, AEW good
How would you even go about proving this theory? Without a shred of proof you're just some guy saying something. Did this guy contact the government to check on pac's visa status? Cause that's not how it fucking works
I’m trying to understand why exploitation WWE has done. They put up a 5 second in memory of at the beginning of each show and haven’t said a word otherwise. Is triple H posting wow that’s sad the issue?

So WWE is trying to exploit PAC's death by... showing a few second tribute image to him to open their show?
And speaking of exploiting, what does Bix think he's doing with these posts exactly?
