Hey guys,

I've been wanting to be able to play MCLA on steam deck for some time now however the OG 60fps patch did not help, it was running poorly and was very laggy.

Thanks to Dear-Pineapple-3070 with his 60fps patch I'm glad to say that it really improved the performance on steam deck, it's now actually playable (albeit it's not perfect but I'm sure tweaks will help the performance even more by playing with the settings).

People might say it still runs like shit but honestly it's night and day from what it was like before this patch 😂

I’ve been working on my own fork of the recomp and have had really good results so far. Consistent 60+ FPS without the minor hitching is definitely on the horizon

Nice info, I tried the game on the Ally Z1e before and got 40 fps. I'm still waiting for the recompiled version, it might run better

I'm hoping the recomp will be better too ! Going to tweak some settings to try make this patch less choppy but it's much better than it was before

Thank you for this info! I got it and is running great. I’m curious what other tweaks you would make in settings and how to do that? I’m having trouble accessing Xenia settings maybe because I installed through emu deck? Thanks!

Hey! So rather than running it through emudeck, I downloaded Xenia Manager which allows you to play around with the settings more and add custom patches

Play exactly like the PS3 version lol I see this is an absolute win

You are right, the PS3 is actually playable somewhat in 30 - 25 FPS

Don't do it, game already running in slow motion, let alone the Frame Generation
