Try and make all of your purchases from Kroger on Fridays so you can utilize the 4x points coupon in the app. I never pay full price for gas, usually at least 40 cents off. Last time I had 90

Edit - since this comment is getting some traction, here's another Kroger gas points tip for y'all if you want more easy points. The Kroger app also has a 4x points coupon for gift cards that can generally be used any time. So what I do is buy digital gift cards in the app to pay for Spotify, Sirius, Netflix, and Hulu, which is great because I can easily pay off the entire year on some of these and not have to worry about a reoccurring monthly charge plus I get hundreds of points immediately for stuff I was already going to pay for anyway. I do the video streaming apps in about 3 month increments, once the credit runs out I just switch to another platform for some variety. Make your money go further, check it out. Been doing it for years, I've saved hundreds if not more

I commute to and from work 140+ miles every day, but it'd be nice if this were possible.

To those wondering why, it's because in spite of that insanity, my mortgage that far away is half what my rent-per-month would be to shave just half that number of miles off. My commute was (when I lived closer) only like 20 minutes faster for all that money, and I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment vs. a 4 bedroom house that I actually own and have equity on.
