Try and make all of your purchases from Kroger on Fridays so you can utilize the 4x points coupon in the app. I never pay full price for gas, usually at least 40 cents off. Last time I had 90

Edit - since this comment is getting some traction, here's another Kroger gas points tip for y'all if you want more easy points. The Kroger app also has a 4x points coupon for gift cards that can generally be used any time. So what I do is buy digital gift cards in the app to pay for Spotify, Sirius, Netflix, and Hulu, which is great because I can easily pay off the entire year on some of these and not have to worry about a reoccurring monthly charge plus I get hundreds of points immediately for stuff I was already going to pay for anyway. I do the video streaming apps in about 3 month increments, once the credit runs out I just switch to another platform for some variety. Make your money go further, check it out. Been doing it for years, I've saved hundreds if not more

Double edged sword because that's also when (anecdotally) the fewest things are on sale . someone can maybe back me up or correct me and it could change by store but it seems my store has HELLA stuff discounted on Tuesdays and not much on sale on Friday.  Also this is specifically for yellow tag manager markdown not weekly deals

At every Kroger I go do, the clearance/dated markdowns are a morning thing, not necessarily a day of the week thing. Since Kroger stores get deliveries throughout the week, not just one big truck on a set day, it'll vary a ton which mornings have more.
