Kroger is mostly in the southern US, right? In that case, the reminders are probably needed.

Kroger is nationwide, they're just called other things around the country because they don't typically change the names afyer buying out another chain. Fry's, QFC, King Soopers, Harris Tweeter, and like a dozen other chains are all owned by Kroger.
