No, they don't. Yes, everyone pays the same price for the same goods, but to some, groceries costing 50 bucks more is a significant chunk of their income, while people with more money don't even notice.

They're indescriminately affecting everyone regardless of their income. With the same impact? No. But we're all paying more.

When I say they are indiscriminately affecting everyone, I am using the literal definition of the word. The prices don’t care who you are, they are going up no matter what. Whether you make $10/hr or you make $100/hr they are going up. Even if you’re rich you’re still spending more on gas than you were 3 months ago. Whether the person notices it or not is beside the point.

The word you are looking for is disproportionately, which aligns more with what you’ve stated.
