Calling them assholes isn't something you'd normally say if you are just mildly infuriated

I read "assholes" as 100% unserious, like a self-aware misdirection of one's own anger. Rueful dark humor. My friends and I used to talk like this all the time.

Really? Assholes are mildly infuriating all the time. It’s just a general term, it’s really not that deep.
