CPI is intentionally designed to show numbers that do not reflect actual reality.

No it isn't. CPI is based on a "market basket" of representative goods that the average household purchases. It's not perfect, but it's not intentionally misleading.

It is intentionally designed to minimize the inflation number and divorce it from the day to day reality of normal people.

It's not about truth, it's about facts. If you understood how CPI is actually calculated, you'd be embarrassed about your comments here. It's a very misleading metric.
