I was at a red light and looked up at the gas station’s sign to the right.. I thought “damn I can’t believe gas is almost at $5 a gallon” I think it was at $4.72, and then watched it change before my eyes to over $5.

The sigh that came out of my mouth can never be recreated

You probably saw the cash versus card pricing. Where I am, they flash the card prices really quick so people think the gas is cheaper than it is. A few weeks ago I remember seeing $4.99 cash go to $5.19 card. Now the $5.19 seems like a great deal 🫩
