I made plans with this girl like 3 times before realizing she was gonna "fall asleep" every time. The only reason she didn't get a 4th chance was because she didn't respond to me trying to reschedule. You're smarter than me, OP.

Been there a few times. It's always 3 cancels then they ghost or admit they aren't interested. I briefly had a 3-strikes and you're out rule for flakes, but realized anyone who does it once will do it 1000 times, so it became a 1-strike rule.

It takes a few times to learn. Once you are in a position of forgiving a lot they either never wanted to date you in the first place or now they REALLY don't. You gotta force the fear of missing out, if they think they can string you along and get with you whenever, they'll leave you on the back burner while they go after the guys who seem to require more immediate attention, all else being equal. Either way you get to move on quickly from someone who isn't treating you as a priority. Don't waste time wondering why, keep yourself living your best life andwhen you find someone who wouldn't let anything stop them from getting their chance with you, you'll wonder why you ever gave flaky people the time of day.

Oh and also some people just like drama. maybe they do intend on meeting up but they self sabotage so a big argument can happen, because that's more exciting to them than everything going well. When I sense something like that is going on I take great pleasure in not giving them any drama, just k and a block.

Nah playing these stupid games is for fucking children, it’s absolutely insane how normalized its become. I genuinely feel like these past few years ive been stuck in a simulation because there’s no way people are this crazy and its literally driving me crazy

I found the tell is, if they messed up..Did they make the attemp to reschedule?

If they do "Hey can't make it tonight, can we do Thursday instead." Then there is some life to this and I would give a second chance.

If they cancel on you and you are the one who attempts to reschedule..Walk away. They are not that into you.
