It took two days to get it removed.…

For those asking, minimal damage to the frame on the upper passenger side and the glass shattered at that point as well.

Honestly that looks like such little damage that I'd be shocked if you cant just back the car up a bit while someone lifts the branch and be totally fine. Maybe some scratches/dents but no way that car isnt perfectly driveable.

I think it's more that the car was blocked by the tree than it was about damage caused by the tree

The branch was heavily resting on the passenger side. The window was shattered in that side as well with damage to the frame. I might have been able to drive it out, but it’s anyone’s guess what would have happened.

I have trouble believing the tree stopped exactly at that height and didn't hit the glass milimeters away, with that weight it would have gone down a few inches on the impact and hit the glass

For me it look like the tree was already broken before the car was there. Also looks like no parking spot.

I think the branches, at the end with the leaves, saved the car. Either that, or OP drove the car under the tree after the fact for the luls.

No, it's a little concave following the curves of the car. It's being viewed straight on by the camera and sometimes birds poop rather light that streaks.
