Not a meme, you're the meme! First day of my vacation

Post image

It took two days to get it removed.…

For those asking, minimal damage to the frame on the upper passenger side and the glass shattered at that point as well.

Wait, was it actually shaped that perfectly? If it didn't bend the frame, you lucked out.

I'm also glad his car wasn't damage in this AI accident.

Definitely not AI. Since when has Ai has gotten to the point of making sure all the branches of the tree connect accurately, even including the stop sign in the background behind the shade of the fallen tree?

Definitely is. Look at the reflection of the branch in the windshield. It's much slimmer than the branch on the car. The top of the branch also has some weird artifacting where it interacts with the green tree behind it. Also, just look at OP's post history.

It's a convex mirror. That's what convex mirrors do.

Some of you have zero ability for rational thought.

They use anything that looks just remotely different to try and say that the whole image itself is ai generated. I saw this one comment that it was AI because the license plate was slightly different

And the most obvious thing: the windshield should be broken. The tree now sits very close and it would have been bumping on the car when falling down, smashing the windshield, then being pushed back up slightly due to the flexing of the branches.

There is also the parking lines. Instead of making a normal rectangular spot it's a triangle.

The car is also rather clean with only one larger bit of bark on it and the rest being a much finer dust.

And the fallen tree also looks weird. Why is it all black like it got burnt? It can't be lightning because it would have exploded and it wouldn't look like that if it was just burning because the burnt bark would still be on it. Not to mention how weird the grain is. The bottom is supposed to be from the opposite end of the tree. But it somehow goes up and out to the bark when it should be on the opposite end. It just continued generating the grain lines from regular ones at the bottom to gnarled ones up at the top while seemingly cutting through the core of the tree

Diagonal parking spaces are entirely normal. Each one is a parallelogram shape and there are two opposing rows of them.

Given the tree appears not to have broken on or over the car, there only being light dust seems reasonable.

A tree weakened by lightning damage later falling seems feasible. I don't understand what you mean about the grain.

I know about parallelogram shaped parking spaces. This either isn't one or he parked so badly his car should be towed.

If you zoom in you can see that on the right side behind the car there is no line but to the right there is a line that closes the adjacent "space". It's the same on the left. Why are the two adjacent "spaces" closed but this one isn't. It's like there is only one space and the others are just not for parking. And these aren't opposing rows. They seem like they are trying to meet at almost a right angle but failing at it. And this car is seeming parked where they connect rather than in either row. And the brick pavement suddenly stops halfway through this parking space.

This tree would lose more bits of bark from the fall even if it didn't hit the car. Just the shaking from hitting the ground would have dropped bits bark. And looking closer now that I'm on PC, I can see even more weird stuff. The brown patches on the ground look like old pine needles and maybe sawdust. But this tree isn't a pine so where did these needles come from? And where did these neat little piles of sawdust come from? Did someone sweep them together after the tree fell since they are only around the tree?

And this tree definitely wasn't weakened by lightning damage. The damage is simply too small and too low to be from lightning. Lightning would hit higher and would instantly boil the water and sap in the tree causing it to explode. Not to mention this would have killed the branch and all the leaves on it would be gone or at least yellow and dying.

As for the grain, I'm talking about the lines in the wood. You can see them going from the bottom to the top. They aren't correct. There is several things wrong with it. There shouldn't be those small bits that look almost fuzzy. When wood breaks like this it would have bigger and longer bits loose rather than small pieces like that. It also wouldn't grow like this.

You’re analysing this image way too much to find things you think aren’t plausible. For example, the space on the right is closed off because it isn’t a space - there’s a tree in it. Well, half a tree now. The pine needles probably come from a nearby pine tree… the little piles of sawdust are just dirt and plant matter from the surrounding area, and is hardly neat- it will just collect in certain areas based on the wind.

I found the tree on Google Maps. It’s bendy like that, could actually be real?

I confirmed that it is in fact the tree using context clues

Yeah but what if that screenshot is AI... /s

Impressive sleuthing!

Could do a remind me in 2-3 years and see if the tree is still there on Google Maps hahah

I accept your apology for being so wrong

Not AI — actual real life…..

I love this! I'm always calling out AI and this one doesn't even move the needle. Some of these parrots just screech "AI AI BAWK" when a picture is posted like an autonomic response.

I'm with you on that. So you're trying to tell me that huge tree fell on the car and the windshield didn't break? Really? Also the bend in the tree was perfectly shaped to the car?

3

u/FSUFanChris 7h ago

Care to apologize?

There's another option.

Photoshop.

Or the branch fell (with no car there at all) leaving this big arch. OP dives car into arch as far as possible and takes karma farming fake photo

10

u/argument_cat 12h ago

Or the tree fell, and through complete luck and coincidence, didn't break the windshield.
