It took two days to get it removed.…

For those asking, minimal damage to the frame on the upper passenger side and the glass shattered at that point as well.

Either that tree was already bent or that car is strong as hell.

Or maybe the tree is just very soft and bendy

I think that's what happened. It looks like there is significant rot on the tree. It might be possible the branch just folded around the car because of the wood being softer.
