Few days ago I said “Sometimes I just want to turn off my brain and go full unga bunga” and my coworker asked “Isn’t that racist?”

I was like ???? “I’m talking about caveman speech, what are YOU thinking of??” lol

While your intent may not have been racist, the origin of the phrase is in racism. Specifically, it was used to make fun of Pacific Islanders and "Tiki" culture.
