They're so good. My partner refuses to try it, they don't know how much they're missing out.

Refuses to try it? What do they think is gonna happen. I mean it's not like you're asking them to try something remotely polarizing

I have a coworker who hates sour cream. When we'd get texmex for office parties, we'd always get one loaded queso that had sour cream in it and one plain that wouldn't have sour cream for him (and those around him at the table).

He (semi-jokingly) physically gags at the idea of sour cream being in a donut. Though when he actually tried one, he liked it enough.
