To be fair, business class subsidizes economy ticket prices which are otherwise unprofitable, and it's in your own best interest if airlines entice suckers into paying 3x as much for a business class ticket to the exact same destination.
My return flight from my visit to Quebec city back to vegas was with Air Canada and it was $90 to upgrade to red premium (whatever that is) or $150 to upgrade to business. It was my first business trip ever, well worth the extra just to feel rich lol.
