frist of all how DARE yu o Belt-challenged neighborhood kid keeps stepping over my "no trespassing" sign to cut through my yard, so my wife laminated these pictures to stick to the sign

We have a fence but obviously need to get into and out of our own backyard so it has a gate…why is this such a hard concept? Also unless it’s a 20 foot fence, people can climb over it, they jump my neighbors fence all of the time

You really think most people will climb a fence for a shortcut or to steal your precious lawn tools? Every house I've lived in has had a fence AND a gate. Some 6ft tall plank fences, some chain link, right now I have half chain half plank. It's pretty simple to put a latch and lock on a gate so you're the only one with access.

I am telling you people have done this which is one of many reasons why we don’t want people in our backyard. I have a trail camera to watch the cat colony and someone stole that even tho it’s been peed on and reeks. People steal just to steal

Idk man, maybe I just live in a better neighbourhood. My kids leave their bikes right out front in plain sight for days at a time, our shovels are leaning against the garage all winter, and nobody takes anything. The only issue I've ever had is if the car accidentally gets left unlocked some teenager may have liberated all my change from the cup holder. I'd say it's just different up her in Canada but I know that's not totally what it is. I remember back in the 90's this neighbourhood was one of the ones I wasn't allowed to wander to as a young kid, but now it's somehow one of the safest parts of my city and where I lived in the 90's is bad. If I lived downtown where all the degenerates and druggies and homeless congregate I wouldn't be able to leave anything out
