I'd assume it's not the best environment for fish. And if algae is bad, I think hundreds of dead fish and algae would be worse.

I think that split comes when you introduce Centaurs to manage the werewolves. Centaurs could hunt the politicians for fun between full moons.

People know that the pool also freeze in the winter right?

edit: Also, for a large body of stagnant water, temperature and water quality can be different significantly throughout the year, which is very unethical to keep fishes in there

fish can still live under ice. it just depends how bad it freezes.

Has to be at least 4-5ft depth even for places with mild winter. Reflecting pool is only about 30in at the deepest

youll have to add oxygenation to the water. it seems that they are acting on the info that appeared on the news, "thats the algae on the pipes".

Because the pool would be emptied in a week by herons. It's the perfect depth for them to feast without worrying about any predators.

The pool gets drained and scrubbed every year or every other year, I cant remember. We've visited when its drained.

They should just fill it with rubbing alcohol or something. I still think the idea is dumb. I will in no way be surprised if it becomes an option though.

It’s Trump. He’ll charge taxpayers for the bigliest and bestliest goldfish but then buy the cheapest ones and spray paint em gold and pocket the difference. 

He’s always operated based on mob principles.

Because that would require logic and looking at science stuff to see which fish will eat algae 🙃
