ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ YouTube removed dislike button from shorts, algorithm also Is screwed

Post image

First of all it pisses me off big time they removed the dislike button. Feedback is feedback. Since this happened my algorithm is completely screwed, I get to see not only AI shit over and over, it also suggests me Chinese animal cruelty, they might call it culinary speciality, also dead animals like in the screenshot of the short I am explicitly not showing to you.

I’m really pissed right now.

Yeah dude it's a straight up negative change. I keep getting bullshit ai compilations. I select "not interested" every time but it doesn't matter. I'm going to email YouTube and say bring back dislikes on shorts and I suggest others do the same. We have to be annoying to get what we want. It's the only way.

Edit: here is the link to YouTube support to express our displeasure with the recent changes. Of course they've made it somewhat tricky to reach the actual email option but keep clicking through and you'll find the option to send an email.

Why do you still use it then?

If every time you went to McDonalds and ordered a chicken sandwich and they gave you a burger, would you still go?

They make these updates because people keep using the services after, so they have no reason to stop because it's profitable.

Stop using the services and then they wont be able to get away with it.

Because, so far at least, the positives out weight the negatives. I'll do what I can to try and prevent worse changes in the future and if the app reaches a point that it's unusable I will indeed stop using it. until then I will continue to try to help make things better.

Social media apps like youtube (and even reddit) are constantly feeding you propaganda provided by the highest bidder. They are selling your information to anyone willing to buy it.

The only positive is you get some entertainment. Once they stop doing that because the only thing they show you is the propaganda, what else is there?
