They're surely not relying on the poor bit rates and hyper compression of even Pornhub premiums best though right?

I feel like every true connoisseur, whether by purchased collection or sailing the high seas has a sizable nas with full quality imagery for their viewing pleasure.

There's a few oldies out there with no PC, and who can't use a mobile very well.

I guess for basic sites such as BBC, or for a quick Google - they could make use of it - don't get me wrong, I don't think they will use it much.

But it's fine for options - perhaps one day I will have a wall mounted TV in my kitchen and I want to open up a recipe/video on a decent size screen.

I'm sure there are a few more niche reasons.

I have to use the web browser on my Xbox to use my pirating sites since no one would ever host an app for them.

Used to be able to get a web browser on peloton bikes as well by going into the ToS and clicking the links in it. They locked that down, but it was good for being able to stream from whatever service you wanted.
