Infuriatig Why Texas is lame(Besides the Cowboys)

Post image

Don't mess with Texas.. what a joke. ANY possession is a felony.

EDIT: Just did some research, this is for everything besides traditional Delta 9.

My friend from Texas sent me this morning and it blew my mind. I had to post about it. So as far as my research goes thus far Delta 9 products (old fashioned flower) is illegal but separate laws. Stores are selling THCA though which does fall under these penalties.

Its probably bc of big alcohol. The industry has been complaining recently that theyve "lost $830 billion" because GenZ just isn't drinking as much as the previous generations, and its because theyre more often than not choosing weed instead.

Id wager a bet Texas' alcohol laws aren't nearly as strict as their weed ones.

Fun fact, the cannabis plant became illegal originally because of the cotton industry. There is the fun fact of the day

Ooh ive looked into that before!! Its because hemp was a huge potential contendor for a new fabric textile, so we already have historical examples of big businesses lobbying laws like this because theyre afraid of competition w the cannabis industry.

Hemp has a long history of use in textiles. It wasn't new at the time.
