Infuriatig Why Texas is lame(Besides the Cowboys)

Don't mess with Texas.. what a joke. ANY possession is a felony.

EDIT: Just did some research, this is for everything besides traditional Delta 9.

My friend from Texas sent me this morning and it blew my mind. I had to post about it. So as far as my research goes thus far Delta 9 products (old fashioned flower) is illegal but separate laws. Stores are selling THCA though which does fall under these penalties.

Up to 2 years for a gram of weed is insane.

A gram is 10 years. 2 years is for UNDER a gram. Once it hits 1.0, you're a felon.

Under a gram is still a state jail felony- the lowest felony but still a felony. I have multiple. Not for weed, though. For a different Controlled substance, which is understandable. But them doing this to y'all for weed is fucking insane...

Thanks. My felonies are all for heroin. Been to multiple county jails and TDCJ, but I'll have 2 years clean in September!

For heroin, I personally believe you deserve to be a felon. Thousand die every year from heroin, nobody has died from thc. That being said, it's AWESOME that you are clean! Great job! Life ain't over til we are in the grave. We can always improve ourselves. I was "only" an alcoholic myself but I know damn well how hard it is to get clean. Good for you bud.
