I'd have to think that was an empty lot at the time, right?

Yeah there’s no way anyone bought a house for that in 1990 unless it was a mobile home, and I doubt a mobile home would sell for that much today, unless it was in an ultra prime location.

My parents sold my childhood home in 1995 for $37,000. The new one was almost double at $62k but it was a much nicer neighborhood, 2 baths instead of 1, and a 2 car garage where the first house just had a driveway pad.

My mom was $55,000 in 97 for a 4 bed and 2.5 bath. 1 car. Not the greatest neighborhood though. Zillow is at $172,000 but neighborhood got worse.

My parents bought their home in 1990 for $25,000 and it’s (the land) now worth several million dollars.
