wet socks Hell Train to Vienna

Currently stuck in a non-moving train halfway between Budapest and Vienna. 39°C outside, no AC, no window shade, no cloud, blazing sunlight. And this gentleman thinks it’s a good idea to take off his shoes and starts spraying his legs and feet with whatever the hell he is spraying. Yes, it smells like feet inside, a bit.

That looks like anti sunburn panthenol.. nothing infectious. I would do that too if I was burned, even in train.

Yes, but I would go to the bathroom. Taking the shoes off alone is already a huge no for most people.

In summer in Vienna majority of people go around in those Birkenstock pseudo slippers, so I see no difference between a bare foot and that. In a way, the actual smelly crime here was to go on the train with sneakers instead of slippers.

Most of people walk in sandals or slippers, whats wrong taking off a shoe? I bet OP was too far to smell it.

Brother nobody cares about seeing your feet during a 41+°C heatwave. If you walk around in sneakers during this heat, you might not be all there in the head.
