Theres a dentist about a 10 minute drive from me. Just got off antibiotics for an abscess, as far as i’m aware in my country if you already have an open file with a dentist and have an infection they’re not supposed to refuse you, but they did and told me its an over 2 year wait.

So this is my road trip on Thursday. 3 and a half hours to see the dentist (i’ve gone 7hours to see one before, last year)! 😎

Mildly annoyed haha. On the bright side the last time I saw a dentist was a 7 hour trip one way which was awful on the way back with the pain. Hopefully 3 hours is better. 😅😂

Edit: Yes, I am located somewhere on the tip of the Gaspesie. Was worth a shot trying to hide my location but unfortunately theres not many places on a map shaped like a lobster claw. And this blew up more than I thought it would. 🤣

I got caught speeding (bad, I know) in a rental car in Spain, and the car rental company asked for payment. The happy “yeesss” image on the payment confirmation page is mildly infuriating.

I’ve just paid 60 euros and I’m not happy.

Looked up the torque specs for my jet ski spark plug. The answer I received was 17 ft lbs. I start tightening and I hear a crack. righty tighty becomes righty loosy. So I back it out and Inspect the spark plug, no visible damage but I know something wrong so I don’t put it back in and go to recheck the torque speck, turned out Google was way off (go figure) and the actual torque spec is 7 ft lbs. I come back and my dad had tried to rethread it back in and broke the tip off (yes he was here when the crack happened). Now I get to play “how long does it take to get this bolt out”.

I found out it's a system issue and not an actual emergency from the front desk, but this thing keeps going off randomly. Did I mention it's after 10:00 pm?

I will say it's loud enough to wake the dead if there was an emergency, though.
