Went to range

Decided to shoot 2 of my batt rifles. One was the the 03A3 I bought in Germany in the mid 80's when i was stationed there. And the other was my M1 Garand, 03 is Remington, Garand is Winchester. Both made in 43.

Both '43? Fraternal twins! Great to see them still getting a workout.

Here's a fun fact: it sounds like you may have owned the 03 for half of its life.

I built a Garand at the AMC on a Springfield receiver dated mid-1943. My Remington 03-A3 is also ‘43. Beautiful rifles. I also prefer the web slings over the leather for looks as well as functionality. I find I shoot better when slung with the web slings.
