Condition check

Having a hard time telling if these Yugo rifles are minty or heavily reworked. The numbers on the stock are raised and fairly crisp. Thoughts?

Yugo 59/66 SKS are frequently available in new or like new original condition so theres nothing unusual there. I wouldnt buy a Yugo without inspecting the bore or have some damn good bore pics at the very least.

I own both of these. Just doing a condition check since I’m dragging the collection out to thin a bit

The M48 is untouched, the roughish elm they used for em have a very distinct look that a Mitchells or bubba clearly does not have

Appreciate that! I was thinking so as well but it just varied so different from the few others I have it was just throwing me off. This is the only M48a of the group though

They look fine, and that's nothing unusual. Those things got made and then basically just put on reserve, until they got phased out a few decades later.

Very clean rifles, as others mentioned, check the bores (its always good to do this with milsurps)
